The La Ronge Ice Wolves have signed 2007-born forward Hudson Thiessen to a letter of intent for the 2024-25 SJHL season.

“Hudson had a fantastic spring camp in Aberdeen last weekend,” said Ice Wolves Head Coach/GM Kevin Kaminski. “He plays the game the right way, with passion, heart and he’s physical. He also has very good speed and puck skills. He plays hard and sacrifices his body. We’re excited to get him and we’d like to welcome him to La Ronge.”

The Hepburn, SK product recorded 23 points and 34 penalty minutes in 32 games with the Prairie Hockey Academy U17 White team this past season.

“I’m very excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a La Ronge Ice Wolf,” said Thiessen. “I couldn’t have asked for a better organization to be part of. I’m a hard-working, physical, 200-foot player who loves to make plays.”

Thiessen is the sixth new player to commit to the Ice Wolves for the 2024-25 campaign.
