Sebastien Beauregard has chosen to join the Windsor Lancers who won the OUA championship last year en route to competing for the CIS National Championship. Sebastien had a career year compiling 57 points in 56 games and finishing second in the SJHL with 32 goals. He achieved countless accolades for his successful season including SJHL player of the month, team MVP and co winning the prestigious Roger Neilsen Award. In Windsor he will reunite with Ice Wolf teammate Daulton Siwak who committed to the Lancer program earlier this year. All though Sebastien had many opportunities with other schools, after seeing the campus and meeting with Lancer Head Coach Kevin Hamelin he felt that Winsor was the best fit educationally and from a hockey standpoint.
“I wish Sebastien all the best, he is a quality young man that I cannot say enough about” States Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin. “His hockey achievements this past year speak for themselves but what a lot of people don’t know is his work ethic and focus behind the scenes is amazing. He was a fulltime student that had great marks and never took a day off at the rink no matter what his schedule looked like, it was an absolute pleasure to coach Sebastien”.
The Ice Wolves organization wants to congratulate Sebastien and his family on this achievement and know that Sebastien will make us proud in the next stage of his career.
