Daniel Chartrand comes to Ice Wolves for Austin Shumanski

DAUPHIN, MB PRODUCT HAS 21 POINTS IN 20 GAMES THIS YEAR

 

The Ice Wolves have received 20 year old forward Daniel Chartrand (6”1” 180 lbs) in a trade with the OCN Blizzard of the MJHL. The trade saw Austin Shumanski go to the Blizzard. Daniel is from Dauphin, MB and played his AAA Midget there with the Parkland Rangers getting 58 points (23 goals, 35 assists) in 44 games in his final year of midget. He played 2 years of Junior for the Dauphin Kings, and this year for The OCN Blizzard where he had 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) in 20 games.

Ice Wolves Head Coach Evan Vossen says he’s “very excited to get Daniel in the lineup. He brings a lot of fire power and we’re looking for him to contribute right away.”

The Ice Wolves would like to wish Austin Shumanski the best at OCN and thank him for his contribution to the club. We welcome Daniel his family to the pack.
