WOLVES ADD SIZE TO THE D
The La Ronge Ice Wolves would like to announce the acquisition of 96 born Defenceman Sean Mclaren. The Oakville Ontario native is a 6’1 195 lb blue liner who played with the Burlington Cougars in the OJHL last season, he accumulated 4 points to go along with 98 penalty minutes in 48 games.
“Sean adds a dimension of size and strength to our blue line I felt we lacked last season, he will make life on opposing teams’ forwards very tough and he is excited to come to La Ronge”. Stated Head Coach Shawn Martin
In exchange for Sean the Ice Wolves sent the CJHL rights of Jackson Waniek and future considerations. We would like to welcome Sean and his family to our team and wish the best of luck.
