Ice Wolves acquire Prouty from Ice Dogs

The La Ronge Ice Wolves would like to announce the acquisition of 96 born Forward Nick Prouty. The Kenora Ontario native is a 6’1 195 lb forward who played with both the Dryden Ice Dogs and Virden Oil Capitals in 2014-2015, he accumulated 15 points to go along with 40 penalty minutes in 40 games.

“Nick brings another big body to our forward corps.  He is very versatile as he is capable of playing all three forward positions”. “Nick had a very good year in midget a couple of years ago and we believe with the right opportunity he can emulate those numbers he had with the Kenora Thistles”. The Ice Wolves family would like to welcome Nick to the organization and wish him the best of luck. Nick joins Kolby Johnson as the second player added from future considerations trades accumulated last season, there remains two more to be completed before the beginning of the regular season.
