Ice Wolves Captain commits to University of Windsor

SIWAK BECOMES A LANCER

The La Ronge Ice Wolves are pleased to announce that Daulton Siwak will be pursuing his education and hockey career for the University of Windsor Lancers that compete in the OUA Conference.

Daulton came to La Ronge just after the January 10th trade deadline and became an instant fan favorite with his high tempo style of play.  He put up 18 points in 18 games for the Ice Wolves.

“Although Daulton was not in La Ronge for long, he was a temendous benefit to our program.  I would personally like to congratulate Daulton on this achievement and wish him the best of luck on going to such a great program”, states Head Coach and GM Shawn Martin.  “He is definitely deserving of it”.

Daulton will be joining a Lancer program led by Kevin Hamlin that came within one game of playing in the CIS Championship and are defending OUA Champions.

The Ice Wolves Organization and fans would like to congratulate Daulton and his family on this accomplishment and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.  Remember Daulton – once a Wolf always a Wolf.
