Ice Wolves Captain to Join Concordia Thunder

MOGHRABI TO ATTEND CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY NEXT SEASON

Adam Moghrabi has received a scholarship to attend Concordia University in Edmonton Alberta. Adam had a career year compiling 24 points in 56 games and finished the season as the only Ice Wolf to play in every game during the 2014/15 campaign.

After compiling 12 points in his first two seasons with the Drayton Valley Thunder and Sherwood Park Crusaders in the AJHL, Adam made his way to Northern Saskatchewan where he instantly made a presence within the Wolves locker room. Along with being named team captain he was awarded 2 team awards at the conclusion of the 2014-15 season. The Lac La Biche, AB product received the Most Sportsmanlike Award voted on by his peers and also received the George Walker Coach’s Award presented by the Ice Wolves coaching staff. Adam is joining a storied program that is rebuilding and looking forward to having a great level of success in the next couple of years.

“I wish Adam all the best he is a very mature driven young man that has a bright future in front of him” stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin. “He was a major part of what we accomplished last year from a character stand point as he did a great job leading this group and being a role model for our younger players”.

Although Adam will be sorely missed, the Ice Wolves organization want to congratulate Adam and his family on this achievement and we wish him the best of luck in all of his future endeavours.

Remember Adam, once a Wolf always a Wolf.
