The La Ronge Ice Wolves dropped a 7-4 decision Friday night to the Nipawin Hawks on the Big River First Nation.
Rylan Silzer, Tyler Gyori, Seth Dragan and Raine Hodge provided the offensive punch for the Ice Wolves. Logan Abric and Topher Chirico split time in the La Ronge crease Friday evening.
Braxton Buckberger led the Nipawin Hawks with a two-goal evening, while Damon Cunningham turned away 34 shots for the victory in the Nipawin cage.
The Ice Wolves will look to rebound Saturday night at home when they entertain the Nipawin Hawks at the Mel Hegland Uniplex.
Meanwhile, La Ronge will conclude its six-game exhibition schedule Sunday afternoon at home versus the Battlefords North Stars.
