Ice Wolves fall in Kindersley 

The La Ronge Ice Wolves dropped a 3-2 decision Friday in Kindersley to the Klippers. 

The Klippers opened the scoring 3:25 into the first period when Cameron Rimstad beat Dawson Smith, who turned away 30 shots in a losing cause. 

The Ice Wolves tied the game at one 15:01 into the game when Thomas Wright wired home his 14th of the season. La Ronge took a 2-1 edge with just three seconds left in the first frame after Jacob Cossette notched his eighth of the season. 

Kindersley tied the game at two 3:52 into the second when Logan Linklater jammed in his eighth of the season. The Klippers took a 3-2 lead 6:47 into the third after Kayden Ostrom tallied. The Ice Wolves had some late pressure, but it was too little, too late Friday night. 

Despite the loss, the Ice Wolves officially clinched a playoff spot. With the setback, La Ronge slipped to 28-17-5, which has them sitting in fourth in the SJHL standings. 

The Ice Wolves will look to rebound Saturday night in Kindersley when they conclude a weekend series with the Klippers.
