Ice Wolves pick Ty Mosimann in first ever SJHL Draft Bantam Draft

The La Ronge Ice Wolves got their man at the first ever SJHL Bantam Draft.  With the second overall pick, the La Ronge Ice Wolves picked Ty Mosimann from the Battleford Barons of the Saskatchewan AA Bantam League.  Ty finished up 6th in league scoring with 36 goals and 35 assists for 71 points in only 31 games.  He also had 18 PIMs as well during the Season.

 

The Ice Wolves in the second round picked up Eli Lieffers from the Saskatoon Maniacs.  Eli finished 35th in league scoring with 19 goals, 14 assists and 34 PIMs in 31 games.

 

In the third round the Wolves selected Matt Allardyce, also from the Maniacs.  Matt tallied 14 goals, 16 assists and 56 PIMs in 31 games with the Maniacs.

 

The 4th round the Wolves selected Matthew Conlon from the Sask Valley Vipers.  Matthew tallied 16 goals, 20 assists and 10 PIMS in 31 games with the Vipers

 

The 5th round saw the Wolves select Saskatoon Bandits goalie Jordan Frey.  Jordan was 5-8-3 (1 SO) with a 3.55 GAA in 16 games with the Bandits this season.

 

In the 6th and final round the Wolves selected 5′ 11″ 165lb Brayden Dirks from the Prince Albert Venice House Pirates.  Brayden played in only 12 games with the Pirates this season, but was able to pick up 6 goals, 5 assists and 22 PIMs.

 

 

Coach/GM Shawn Martin is very pleased in the way the draft went for the Wolves.  Our scouting staff did a lot of hard work in scouting these young men and deserve a lot of credit in evaluating the talent of these individuals.
