The La Ronge Ice Wolves are pleased to announce they have signed 2004-born defenceman Nicholas Goyer to a letter of intent for the 2023-24 SJHL season.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity and I’m excited to get started with the Ice Wolves,” said Goyer. “I’m a two-way defenceman who likes to play physical. I like to shut down opponents in my end of the ice. I also like to use my speed to be a threat offensively.”
The Langley, B.C. product is coming off an impressive campaign, recording 30 points in 43 games with the Langley Trappers in the PIJHL.
“Nick is a great leader and an excellent puck-moving defenceman who will bring a lot of offence to our group,” said Ice Wolves Head Coach and GM Kevin Kaminski. “He has a great compete level, as well as the want and will to win.”
Meantime, the Ice Wolves are getting set for their Spring ID Camp in Aberdeen, SK May 26-28. There are still a few forward spots available.
