Ice Wolves sign Tokic

The La Ronge Ice Wolves are pleased to announce they have signed 2004-born forward Lukas Tokic to a letter of intent for the 2023-24 SJHL season.

“I’d like to think I play a strong two-way game, hard-checking and simple,” said Tokic. “I try to use strength and speed to make plays. I want to bring energy every shift to this team. I also want to be the best teammate possible.”

Tokic, a Vancouver, B.C. product, recorded 33 points and 152 penalty minutes in 47 regular season games with the Kerry Park Islanders (VIJHL) this past season. In five playoff games, Tokic tallied three goals and two assists.

“Lukas brings great leadership qualities, a high compete level and work ethic,” said Ice Wolves Head Coach and GM Kevin Kaminski. “He plays a hard and physical game. He also has some sweet mitts to score goals and make plays.”

Tokic is the fifth player the Ice Wolves have signed to a letter of intent for the 2023-24 campaign.
