Ice Wolves Top Scorer to join Keyano College Huskies

CAMPBELL RETURNS HOME TO CONTINUE HOCKEY CAREER

 

Kyle Campbell has received a scholarship to attend Keyano College which play in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference. It is a homecoming for Kyle as Keyano College is located in Fort McMurray where Kyle is originally from. Kyle had a breakthrough this year compiling 32 points in 55 games and finished the season as the Ice Wolves Top Scorer. Kyle compiled 22 points in 2013-14 with the Ice Wolves, Kyle also had 100PIM seasons both years he was in La Ronge.

Along with being an assistant captain he was awarded 2 team awards at the conclusion of the 2014-15 season. At the awards banquet, Kyle received along with the top scorer award the North Winds Bus Lines most dedicated player award. Kyle is joining a fast rising program that is quickly becoming a contender within the ACAC.

“I cannot say enough about what Kyle has meant to our program” states Head Coach Shawn Martin. “He worked hard at developing his skill set to give himself this opportunity and displayed a great work ethic on and off the ice”.

On behalf of the Ice Wolves organization we want to congratulate Kyle and his family on this achievement and thank him for his time spent with the Wolves.

Kyle is the 2nd Ice Wolf to commit to a post-secondary school following Captain Adam Moghrabi’s commitment to Concordia University College.
