La Ronge, SK – April 22, 2025 – The La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) are proud to announce the hiring of Shawn Whiteley as the organization’s new Business Manager.
Whiteley brings over 25 years of experience in sports management to the Ice Wolves, with an impressive track record that spans media relations, marketing, sponsorship, social media, event management, and more. His extensive background in both collegiate and championship-level sports positions him as a key asset in elevating the Ice Wolves’ brand and business operations.
Throughout his career, Whiteley has worked across multiple levels of sport, including the NCAA, U Sports, and the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). He has managed media and business operations at over 50 championships and has been involved in more than 5,000 games—demonstrating not only his deep industry knowledge but also his dedication to excellence in sports administration.
