Lucas Nagel Playing for University of Regina Cougars

THE ICE WOLVES WISH LUCAS THE BEST IN HIS FUTURE ENDEAVOURS

Lucas, played solid defense in 2015-16 and 2016-17 for the Wolves, finishing his junior career here in La Ronge. From Regina, he has gone home and is attending the U of R. In tryouts for the Cougars, he impressed the coaches with his work ethic and hard-nosed play. Nagel was well prepared for university hockey both from his three years of Junior A and from University classes taken through the Ice Wolves education program. The Ice Wolves have a partnership with Northlands College and provide an excellent education program which includes access to classes, tutoring, and SAT preparation. Players are reimbursed course costs for successful completion.

Lucas’ advice for young players is to “take as many university courses as possible in Junior A. If you plan on playing University/College hockey the courses you already have will help with the course load in the future.”

The Ice Wolves would like to wish Lucas the best in his university hockey and academic pursuits!
