The La Ronge Ice Wolves have traded 2004-born forward Flynn Maxcy to the Melville Millionaires in exchange for a player development fee.

Maxcy, an Edmonton product, had 10 points and 36 penalty minutes in 37 games with La Ronge last season. The Ice Wolves would like to thank Flynn for his contributions to the organization. The team wishes him all the best with his new squad in Melville.

Meantime, the Ice Wolves start the regular season Sept. 22 on the road in Melfort versus the Mustangs. La Ronge plays its home opener the following night at the Mel Hegland Uniplex against the Nipawin Hawks.

The La Ronge Ice Wolves begin training camp Sept. 5 at the Mel Hegland Uniplex.
