Minor Hockey Day in La Ronge a huge success

The Wolves and La Ronge Minor Hockey have a great relationship.  Whether it is coming out to assist in minor hockey practices, fist bumps before and after every period or actually being billeted with families in minor hockey, the big Ice Wolves are not far removed from their days in minor hockey.

La Ronge Minor Hockey and the Wolves teamed up for minor hockey day in La Ronge, where any kids dressed in hockey jerseys got in free to the game on February 25th against the Humboldt Broncos.  After the game was also a skate with the Wolves and a growl and howl for the parents while they watched their kids on the ice with Wolves.

Unfortunately the Wolves came out on the losing side in a 2-1 game, but all the Wolves went back on the ice and had as much fun as the kids playing tag and stealing toques and mitts during the skate after the game.  Photo opportunities were plenty with kids, billets and teammates as the season comes to an end.

The Ice Wolves organization would like to thank La Ronge Minor Hockey for being involved in organizing this great evening.
