September 28th – Bombers Vs Wolves

Tough night at the Mel as the Ice Wolves suffered their first regulation loss of the season at the hands of the visiting Flin Flon Bombers.
Flin Flon’s Ryder Rangor opened the scoring at 3:51 of the first period.
La Ronge forward, Zane Normand, tied it up, soon after with assists from Mason Bueckert and Jacob Cossette.
Keefe Gruener, Evin Bossell, and Koen Senft each lit the lamp for the Bombers in the second period.
Ice Wolves forward, David Vitt, scored a dandy power play goal and the Wolves went into second intermission down by a pair.

A third period goal from the Bomber’s, Keefe Gruener, his second of the night, put the Wolves in a hole that they couldn’t climb out of.
Wolves were out shot, but goaltender, Logan Falk, looked good stopping 41 shots.
Wolves next game is Friday, October 4th in North Battleford.
