Together We Grow: Ice Wolves Movember Campaign

Every November, the La Ronge Ice Wolves take part in Movember, standing proudly with a global movement committed to improving men’s mental health and raising awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide prevention. This has become a yearly tradition for our organization. This fundraiser means a great deal to our players, staff, supporters, and the wider northern community.

Movember is not just about growing mustaches. It is about starting conversations, breaking stigma, and supporting the men and boys in our lives who may be struggling silently. Across sports, workplaces, families, and friend groups, men face unique challenges when it comes to mental and physical health. Too often, they carry these battles alone. Movember helps change that and we’re committed to being part of the solution.

Each year, the Ice Wolves proudly grow their “Mo’s” to spark conversations, raise funds, and show that taking care of your health is something to be proud of, not ashamed of. Our community has always rallied behind this initiative, and over the years, we have made a real impact.

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our fans, families, and partners, we raised $1,250.00 for Movember.
This year, we’re aiming to beat that total and we truly believe we can!

When you support Movember, you’re not just donating. You are helping create a future where men live longer, healthier, and more openly connected lives.

We’re calling on our amazing Ice Wolves community to show that northern Saskatchewan stands strong for men’s health.
