Going back the other way was Winger Braden Jakubowski. Noah Kieser who hails from Sherwood Park, Ab has spent the last two seasons with the Thunder compiling 27 points and 302 PIM. Noah is a versatile forward with the ability to play all three forward positions. “Noah is a guy we have been trying to get for a while, his compete level is extremely high and we feel that his strengths match our style of play”. “He reminds me a lot of Joel Blaquire who had two very good seasons with us” Stated Ice Wolves Head Coach/Gm Shawn Martin. Curtis Peck is from St. Albert, Ab and spent his only season in the AJHL with the Thunder totalling 2 points in 42 games. Before his time with the Thunder he played Midget AAA for the Canadian Athletic Club out of Edmonton where he had 26 points in 34 games. “Curtis is a big hard working Center that I believe can become a strong two-way threat in the SJHL”.

In another transaction, the Wolves moved a 5th round pick in this year’s draft and future considerations to the Kindersley Klippers for Center/Winger Josh Hayward (97) and a 4th round pick in the 2017 SJHL draft.
