The La Ronge Ice Wolves made it three wins in a row on Friday night defeating the Melville Millionaires 3-2. Mason Bueckert stayed on his point scoring streak opening the scoring at 19:23 of the second period, but Millionaire’s Ryan Roethke scored soon after to send the teams into second intermission tied at 1-1.
Third period goals by Seth Dragan and Grayden Perozni gave the Wolves the points they needed to give them their third consecutive win on the road.
Newly acquired Wolf, Connor Frost , got on the scoresheet in his debut assisting on Perozni’s goal.
Logan Falk stopped 26 of 28 shots.
Wolves are in action again on Saturday night against the Yorkton Terriers in Churchbridge Saskatchewan at the Kevin Kaminski Arena.
