Wolves make the day of Atom hockey team

This season hasn’t been the kindest to the Wolves on the ice as they are in the middle of a retool, but they were all smiles as they took the ice against the La Ronge Ice Wolves Atom team.

The “fight filled” affair went back and forth all night, with the Atom team coming out on top 9-8.  Afterwards they all enjoyed Valentine Cupcakes and Hot Chocolate.

La Ronge Minor Hockey setup the game as a lot of the players on the Atom team have Wolves as billet brothers.  When asked if the team could play against the Atoms, Coach and GM Evan Vossen did not hesitate contacting the team to see was interested as this is a perfect example of how the team can give back to the community.
