Wolves vs Millionaires – Oct 11

Ice Wolves flex on Miilionaires.
The La Ronge Ice Wolves defeated the Melville Millionaires 4-1 in the first game of a two game home stand.
Captain Rylan Silzer started the scoring just 36 seconds into the game, before most fans had even settled in. Despite spending almost half the period on the penalty kill, the Wolves managed to take the one goal advantage into the first intermission.
The Wolves came out in pack attack mode as they tallied three more unanswered goals in the second frame, giving them a 4-0 lead after two periods. Goal scorers were Zane Normand, Hudson Cameron and Matthew Kim.
Goaltender Graham Brown stole the game and stole the show stopping 45 of 46 shots.
Melville finally got on the board with a goal by Boston Harkness, but that’s as close as the Millionaires would get.
Ice Wolves have another showdown against the Millionaires on Saturday night.
Thanks to all the fans who came out to back the pack tonight and we hope to see you back at the Mel for Saturday Night Hockey Night in La Ronge.
