Year End Banquet

Well another year has come and gone as the Annual Year End/Awards Banquet was held on March 11th at Eagle Point Resort.

Master of Cerimonies – Braden Malsbury once again was able to bring a combination of humour and wit to the evening festivities.

One highlight of the Braden’s emceeing was reading out a letter from the Blaquiere family thanking the entire Wolves organization for the last 2.5 years with both of their sons playing for the teal and white.

Silent auction items were second to none and some people were able to come away with some very nice items, all in support of the team.  The meal (roast beef with all the fixins) was put on by the High School Travel Club (Connie Haugen) and had people going back several times to the buffet table.

The main reason for the evening was to hand out the hardware and also auction off the player jerseys .

Luke Lush stole the show collecting 3 awards, while Curtis Peck and Bryce Fiske each came away with 2.

The player jersey auction started out slow, but the bidding soon took off as the ice wolves players dawned their jerseys and strutted their stuff to increase the bidding.

The Wolves organization would like to thank Eagle Point Resort, all the businesses who donated items for the silent auction, all the volunteers who helped out during the evening, Connie and Brett Haugen (and the travel club) for putting on a great spread and especially to all the players and their families, the billets and every one else who came out and supported the Wolves organization that evening.
