Zac Gladu makes Major Junior

TWO YEAR WOLVES VETERAN MAKES QMJHL

Congratulations to Zac Gladu who has made the Val D’or Foreurs of the QMJHL. Ice Wolves Head Coach Evan Vossen was informed this morning that Zac made their roster. We are excited and wish him the best of luck in his hockey future.

“Our goal as an organization is to move players on to higher levels of hockey, whether that be major junior or post-secondary,” said Coach Vossen.

Zac played in 2 seasons with the Ice Wolves, after being acquired as a 17 year old from the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL. Last year, the 6”1”, 2017 lb. forward had 5 goals and 2 assists in 38 games.

Zac is from Golden Prairie Alberta, and plays a strong physical game. His athleticism came through this summer when he won 4 gold and a silver at the Alberta Indigenous Games. His events are strength and technique field events: shotput, discus, long jump, and high jump. No doubt all the hard training has paid off at the Foreurs training camp as well.

Bonne Chance dans le belle province, Zac!
