From visiting local schools and reading with students, to helping at community events, coaching young athletes, and volunteering, Ice Wolves players understand the importance of giving back. These activities create meaningful connections between the team and local youth while helping inspire the next generation of hockey players and community leaders.
Youth engagement is a key part of the Ice Wolves’ mission. Many young fans look up to our players as examples of hard work, dedication, and teamwork. By spending time with children both on and off the ice, players help build confidence, encourage healthy lifestyles, and demonstrate the value of respect and perseverance.
Community involvement also helps strengthen the bond between the team and the region that supports it. Whether players are participating in hockey clinics, attending cultural celebrations, or visiting community schools, they proudly represent the Ice Wolves organization and the people of Northern Saskatchewan.
The Ice Wolves believe that success is measured in many ways, including the positive impact we have on our communities. Through service, mentorship, and youth engagement, our players are helping build stronger communities and creating lasting memories for young fans.
