Big Trade With Humboldt

HOMETOWN PRODUCT BRYCE FISKE TRADED TO HUMBOLDT

The La Ronge Ice Wolves have traded 20 year hometown product Bryce Fiske to the Humboldt Broncos for 3 players plus a PDF. The pack will gain 99 born Antonio DiPaolo who is in his second year with the Broncos. He currently has 1 goal, 3 assists and 8 PM in 15 games. The Saskatoon product played his minor hockey with Beardy’s and jumped to the SJ as a 17 year old. The Wolves also gain ’00 forwards Michael Spafford and Taylor Halbgewachs. Spafford is playing with the Saskatoon Blazers and has 6 points in 8 games. Halbgewachs is with the Regina Pat Canadians and has 4 points in 8 games.

The trade gives the Ice Wolves some good young players who can benefit the team for years to come. Bryce Fiske, who has played his whole junior career in La Ronge will have a chance to play a pivotal role with a real contender in his last year of junior eligibility.

The Ice Wolves would like to welcome Antonio, Michael, Taylor and their families to the organization. We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to Bryce and his family for their contribution to the Wolves over the years, and for some exceptional hitting! Good luck Bryce!
