Former Ice Wolves Player Passes Away

The La Ronge Ice Wolves organization learned of some heart breaking news today. Ice Wolves alumni, Nakeho Lamothe, passed away on Friday night.

Nakeho played for the Ice Wolves during the 2014/15 season and 2015/16. He will be remembered on the ice for his hard hits and tenacious play. In 2015/16 Nakeho received the MVP Playoffs award.  Off the ice, Nakeho will be remembered in La Ronge as someone who cared for youth and community. In his final season in La Ronge, Nakeho received the award for the most community minded player.
