Ice Wolves and Klippers make a major 7 player deal

COLBY DANIELS NOW AN ICE WOLF

ICE WOLVES MAKE DEAL WITH KLIPPERS

The La Ronge Ice Wolves have completed a trade with the Kindersly Klippers.

The Ice Wolves have acquired the CJHL playing rights of Colby Daniels (94) and Dylan Tuskey (94) also they have received the SJHL List rights or Tyler Pickett (96), Kade Mosiman (98) and Future Considerations.

Going back to Kindersly will be the CJHL rights of Owen Laclare (95), Rhett Kehoe (94) and the SJHL rights of Cole Young (98). The Ice Wolves organization would like to thank Owen and Rhett for their contributions over the past 2 years.

Colby Daniels (Leask, Sk) is a gifted offensive player that brings a lot of intangibles to the Ice Wolves team. He has been a team member in the past of current Ice Wolf Jared Iron and will continue to build on his last two 40 point plus seasons. “Colby has been consistently one of the SJHL’s top scorers over the past two seasons and is incredibly excited to come to La Ronge”. Stated Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.

Dylan Tuskey (Vancouver, BC) was a key component of this move as he brings a workmanlike, high character game to the Ice Wolves. “Coming into the off season we wanted to improve our character and players like Dylan bring that, he was looking for a situation that would give him more opportunity and the Ice Wolves will be able to do that”. Said Shawn Martin

Tyler Pickett (Saskatoon, Sk) is a blue chip prospect that had 43 points in 43 games to go along with 111 Pim this past season with the Saskatoon Blazers of the SMAAAHL. “We believe that Tyler has the ability to become a prolific power forward in the SJHL” “Originally from Meadow Lake Tyler was very excited to become a member of a team from Northern Saskatchewan”. commented Shawn Martin

Kade Mosiman (Edam, Sk) is an intriguing prospect that the Ice Wolves Scouting staff is extremely high on. He is committed to playing the 2014-15 season with the defending Telus Cup Champion Prince Albert Mintos. “Kade is a young defenceman that will be going into a program which develops top tier junior players, he is a guy that we will be keeping close tabs on and believe we will all see him in an Ice Wolves jersey in the near future”. Stated Shawn Martin

The Ice Wolves would like to extend a big welcome to all of the players and congratulate them on becoming the newest members of the Ice Wolves family.  First look at the new players will be available for fans on Aug. 29th 2014 as the start of training camp will begin.
