Ice Wolves make moves

The La Ronge Ice Wolves have traded 2004-born forward Carter Briltz to the Weyburn Red Wings in exchange for a player development fee.

Briltz has spent the last two seasons in the WHL with the Victoria Royals. In 33 games this season with the Royals, Briltz has recorded two points.

Additionally, the La Ronge Ice Wolves have reassigned 2005-born defenceman Blake Ekren-Bratton to the Saskatoon Quakers of the Prairie Junior Hockey League. Ekren-Bratton had two points in nine games this season with La Ronge.

Meantime, the Ice Wolves are back in action Wednesday night at home when they host the Nipawin Hawks at the Mel Hegland Uniplex.
