Sportsman Dinner huge success

TROTTIER ROCKS SPORTSMAN DINNER

Bryan Trottier, 7 time Stanley Cup Winner, was the main attraction at the Ice Wolves 2015 Sportsman Dinner during parents weekend.

Bryan, who won 6 cups as a player and 1 as a coach (plus numerous individual awards), shared stories about growing up in small town Saskatchewan and playing hockey in the NHL.

The former Islander and Penguin great talked about the rivalry between the Isles and the Oilers in the mid 80’s and his time playing with some of the best players every to lace up the skates, including Mike Bossy, Dennis Potvin, Clarke Gillis, Billy Smith, Mario Lemeuix and Jaromir Jagr.

After the incredible stories, Bryan broke out the guitar and played a few classic country tunes, which everybody started clapping and singing along.

When the formal festivities and auction were over, Bryan and a couple other local gentlemen continued the music on for a couple hours and kept the evening going well into the night.

Bryan also took the time to meet and greet every table and have pictures taken with all who asked.

A big thanks to all the Corporate Sponsors, all the parents, Jason McMaster, all the NHL teams who provided memorabilia for the auctions throughout the night and of course Mr. Bryan Trottier for making this weekend and evening a great success.
