Ice Wolves blanked in Warman 

The La Ronge Ice Wolves are now on a four-game losing streak following a 7-0 loss to the Humboldt Broncos Tuesday at the SJHL Showcase in Warman.

The Ice Wolves had six opportunities on the power play, but they were unable to capitalize. Karl Soneff made 30 saves in a losing cause.

Spencer Bell led the Broncos with two goals, while Jeter Korte, Travis Bryson, Connor Miller, Dylan Nazareth and Matthew Van Blaricom also found the back of the net. Aidan Fischer made 28 saves for his first SJHL shutout. 

With the loss, the Ice Wolves slipped to 5-13-2 on the campaign, which still has them 11th in the SJHL standings.

La Ronge will look to rebound Wednesday night in Warman when they take on the Kindersley Klippers at the SJHL Showcase.
