Ice Wolves commit to 2 more upcoming season

The La Ronge Ice Wolves are please to introduce the following 2 prospects that have committed to the team for this season.

 

Elijah Pikientio is a Dman from Tisdale, SK  who played the last 2 season with the Tisdale Trojans.  Elijah also played two games with the Ice Wolves as an affiliated player.  Over the last 2 seasons he has played in all 88 Trojan games compiling 15 points and 94 PIMs.  “He is a big strong steady defender that will bring a physical presence to our defensive core”, States Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.

 

Christian Chorney is a Winger from Sherwood Park, AB who was a member of the Canadian Athletic Club in Edmonton last season.  The big winger compiled 14 points in 34 games last season and also has 2 points in 3 playoff games.  “He is a bigger player that we feel with the right development can become an impact player in the SJHL”, indicates Shawn Martin about Christian.
