The La Ronge Ice Wolves are very excited to announce our 2016 Draft Class. “This year’s draft worked out real well for us. Going off our scout’s draft board, we were able to select our top rated forward, defencemen and goalie, while also adding some under-rated forwards late in the draft.” Indicates Head Coach/GM Shawn Martin.
Below Head Scout Sean Phaneuf has described the individual draft picks so the Ice Wolves fans can get to know them better.
Adam Moar
Two way defenceman that has great puck moving abilities. Adam is committed to play with the Prince Albert Mintos next season.
Luc Marleau
Good sized energy forward that shoots the puck exceptionally well. Luc is committed to play with the Tisdale Trojans next season.
Carlson Schewaga
Tireless worker that has strong overall talent.
Jagger Prosofsky
Skilled forward that can play a strong 2 way game. Jagger is committed to play with the Moose Jaw Generals next season.
Nolan Doell
Quick and skilled point producing forward. Nolan is committed to play with the Beardy’s Blackhawks next season.
Nic Prediger
Hard working player that has the ability to have good offensive production.
The Ice Wolves faithful will get there 1st look at these young men on September 1st when the Wolves break camp for the 2016-17 season.
