Ice Wolves doubled up in Humboldt 

The La Ronge Ice Wolves suffered their fifth straight setback following a 6-3 loss Saturday in Humboldt.

Dylan Handel, Cole Thomas and Jacob Hufty scored for the Ice Wolves. Eric Kahl turned away 39 shots in a losing cause. 

Travis Bryson led the Humboldt Broncos with two goals, while Maddox Amaral, Spencer Bell, Cage Newans and Tristan Serrao also tallied. Ty Matonovich stopped 25 shots for his first SJHL victory. 

With the loss, the Ice Wolves slipped to 15-30-5 on the season, which still has them holding down 11th in the SJHL standings. 

The Ice Wolves will look to bounce back next Friday at home when they open a two-game series at the Mel Hegland Uniplex with the Weyburn Red Wings.
