The La Ronge Ice Wolves have signed 2006-born defenceman Jack McClellan to a letter of intent for the 2024-25 SJHL season.
“Jack is an excellent skater who moves the puck very well,” said Ice Wolves Head Coach/GM Kevin Kaminski. “He will bring offence, he defends hard and he plays a very physical game. We’d like to welcome Jack to the Ice Wolves.”
The South St. Paul, MN product has recorded 26 points and 32 penalty minutes in 25 games with South St. Paul High this season.
“I feel I’m a good-skating, puck-moving defenceman who likes to join the rush,” said McClellan. “I like to use my body to win battles in the defensive zone.”
At the start of February, forward David Vitt also signed a letter of intent with the Ice Wolves for next season.
Meantime, the Ice Wolves are back in action Saturday in Humboldt when they play their only game of the week against the Broncos.
