Ice Wolves drop third straight 

The La Ronge Ice Wolves resumed their four-game road trip with a 4-2 loss Friday night in Melville. 

Dylan Handel and Mason Bueckert tallied for the Ice Wolves, while Topher Chirico made 34 saves in a losing cause. 

Jadon Iyogun and Eliott Mikesch both scored twice for Melville, while Will Dyke only had to make 21 saves to secure the victory for the Millionaires. 

With the loss, the Ice Wolves slipped to 15-28-5 on the season, which still has them 11th in the SJHL standings. La Ronge is six points back of Weyburn for the final playoff spot.

The Ice Wolves will conclude their four-game swing in Melville Saturday evening.
